I believe a harsh warning would suffice considering its been known about for a bit now and warnings could have been given many times. The majority of my levels have been gained legitimately as I only work 4 days a week and I have no life. However I will accept any punishment given by Lord Dhex.

I feel like we've gotten a tiny bit off-topic the main reason for this post was to help come up with ideas to discourage this behavior in the future.

There is a distinct difference between a macro and botting. Botting is a program specifically built for a game that completes certain tasks such as WoW bots that completes whole questlines a macro is just something that presses a button repeatedly. Also I have stopped using the macro because it was affecting the game(was not aware of that one until recently) I would have stopped long ago if Dhex just asked me too. To be fair he could have just straight up banned me and I appreciate his patience with me. Without the macro I can now use my 12 hour work nights to gain wayyyyy more experience than I was getting using it. It just made it easier to multitask while typing reports and whatnot.

Because of the obvious community backlash regarding the issue I want to help prevent these actions from continuing as per my suggestions above. I appreciate your willingness to reply I didn't expect to get any replies :)

Hello everyone as you know I'm the infamous macro user. I've noticed a few people have been unhappy with my usage of a macro saying it's "unfair to other players". Personally I don't see it as such but that's where our opinions differ. I will now be listing some ways we can as a community prevent this in the future.

#1: Adding a directional pad and attack button. In my opinion the current movement and attacking is pretty trash. The attack button is something you should be able to press and have the same attack speed as everyone else this would solve the problem of other people tapping faster and it being "unfair". A direction pad would work well for this game considering there are only 4 directions we can move.

2: Banning the players(after proper warning by admins.) This is the easiest option but also the most harmful as a small in-development game needs to grow their player base and community as much as possible

3: world pvp (excluding towns and job sites) I've been farming snakes for 2 days now and other than players walking up and moving me it has been fairly peaceful but I have been able to just right back to my position immiediatly then they move me again and it doesn't accomplish much (Aneju).

Final thoughts: I personally do not see macros being unfair but it has come to my attention that most players think I've been leaving my game un-attended but I'm always sitting and watching. I do not leave my game on while asleep or anything and I'm actually hindering the amount I could earn per hour by sitting in one spot waiting for spawns. I work a 12 hour desk job and that's why most of you see that I'm online a lot but when I am online I am always responsive even during my farming. Honestly even with the current system of movement if macros never existed I would most likely still sit in one spot waiting on spawns mainly because my current work requires a certain amount of attention and I can't be bothered dragging my finger around my screen until I move. I am open to all criticism, questions, and other suggestions. We may not agree on everything but I know we all want to see this game grow and succeed. Thank you :)
